London has a network of over 25,000 EV charging points, making it easy to top up your TX’s battery on the go. Discover where and how to charge your car.
Public chargers
Public charging points can be found all over London, from public and attraction car parks to on-street locations. Some offer slower, 7.4 kW AC charging, while others deliver fast DC charging of 50 kW or more, and depending on the brand, they are activated by a smartphone app, specific network card or contactless bank card. Simply find a compatible charger, connect your car and pay for the electricity you use.
From home
There are two domestic charging options: a three-pin plug or a dedicated wallbox. Both connect to your home’s electricity supply and deliver AC power. A wallbox charges your vehicle much faster than a regular plug socket.
From work
An increasing number of workplaces provide EV chargers for their employees. These are often either 7.4 kW or 22 kW AC wallboxes that can charge your vehicle in a matter of hours. Some are free for employees to use, while others require payment.
